I like the plan of this one with everything focussed around the courtyard and kitchen, but it doesn't look like the courtyard is sheltered at all during the day. I also like the linearity of the planning and the consideration given for breezes.
I was thinking about a slatted roof over the courtyard so. I'm not sure if that would provide enough shade. Probably not actually. The model was a bit small to do slats so thats why it had a big hole in it! I was really happy with the courtyard/kitchen thing. I'm glad you like it too.
