Tjuntjuntjara Community Housing, WA

This project was published in the latest edition of Architecture Australia. The project involved designing a cluster of houses for and aboriginal community in a remote part of Western Australia.

The designers here had to consider the environmental aspects of the site, but also the cultural and kinship issues of the community. The article describes the process of design and how the design team (comprising an archiitect, an anthropologist and an engineer) met all the considerations of the site and the community.
